Job Description

As the Production Assistant, you will be involved in shooting projects. This includes setting up lighting and audio before interviews and monitor picture and audio during the interviews. In addition, you will be assisting during b-roll shoots (as second camera or a dedicated audio operator). The Production Assistant will be involved with post-production preparation including downloading footage, syncing interviews, organizing footage, transcription, quote selection and music selection. The role has potential to grow into editing rough draft edits and more as time, demand and skill allow. You will be trained on the job according to the StoryDriven methods and procedures. The position is full-time.

Compensation & Benefits

Base salary based on experience.

StoryDriven benefits include health care and cell phone reimbursements, and unlimited paid time off (Minimum 1 day/month off and 1 consecutive week during a calendar year required).

Responsibilities

  • Assists in research and pre-production work
  • Assists on shoots with lighting, audio, camera work
  • Assists in post-production prepping footage for edit (organize, clean, scrub, etc.)
  • Works closely with team to ensure strategic, creative and technical goals are achieved.
  • Desires to continually stay current on video, motion graphics, design, campaign and technology trends.
  • Identifies opportunities to align with brand strategies and channels such as social media.
  • Works alongside team to grow our up-and-coming video efforts.
  • Limited out-of-town travel.
